Updating the NCLTC and NCLUG web sites

I have started working on a looooong overdue task, updating the NCLTC and NCLUG web sites. Both were put in place a while ago and based on PostNuke. What I thought would be pretty easy to maintain and contribute to hasn’t turned out that way. Instead I am deploying WordPress for both and right now, both resemble this Blog very much. Since most of the activity for both NCLTC and NCLUG takes places via Yahoo Groups, I want to make sure that information is part of both sites. I found a WP RSS plugin which works pretty well (although the documentation is all in German) and the last 5 messages are now showing up on the lower portion of the NCLTC site. Long term both sites will have their own color scheme but the layout theme probably won’t change much if at all.
