New Carolina Train Builders Web Site

Carolina Train Builders is proud to announce a new web site. The old site had become difficult to maintain and the look and feel was dated. Building a new web site has been on the to-do list for quite some time (about two years or so) and I finally took the time to do it.

I am hopeful that with the new site, the FMOTM will again be a regular feature of the site. It is unlikely I will be able to do a model every month but I hope to release between three and six this year. I have a number of them queued up, the first (January) should be available tomorrow.

Release : December 19, 2002

After several inquires into the availability of CTB-1108 and one firm commitment, a small run (three units) is now availble for purchase on BrickLink .

This will likely be the last run of CTB-1108 unless I can obtain the parts in sufficient quantity to do another run.

Release : August 28, 2002

Carolina Train Builders is pleased to announce the CTB-5105 Package Depot kit.

Available now for pre-order with FCS (first customer ship) on or about September 10th, this kit is the first in a series of kits intended to support LEGO® train layouts. The initial (and likely only) run is seven (7) kits each consisting of 505 pieces (105 unique) and features a detailed interior, two minifigs, a full color set of instructions, a detailed parts list and a number of hard to find parts. CTB-5105 also hinges open to allow access to the interior.
